The Specifics...
The house is 106 years old, and is located in the historic Hamilton Heights section of Harlem in New York City. Though this exact area is called Hamilton Heights, it is located in a much larger section of Harlem known as Sugar Hill. And, true to it’s name... To live on Sugar Hill, is to “Live the Sweet Life”. And Convent Avenue is the “Sweetest” of them all. In fact, it was named the 5th best street to live on in all of NYC by Time Out Magazine. Our street (Convent between 147 and 148) is a beautiful, tree lined street made up almost entirely of Single Family Homes. It’s pretty rare to live on a street in NYC that has only about a dozen other families living there. We’ve lived all over this city, and these, as a whole, are the best neighbors we’ve ever had - We will miss this house, this neighborhood, and the dear friends we’ve made here...
