Sure it’s scary. Jumping headfirst into the unknown... But as Helen Keller said, “Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing”. So, Blayne, Buffy, Taylor and Zach are jumping into the Rabbit Hole... With eyes and hearts wide open. Into the unknown. Welcoming the unexpected. Because Wonderland is not a “dream world”... It’s the actual world, that happens to be filled with dreams and wonderment. And, the truth is, that if we wait until tomorrow to follow those dreams, they may not be there when we get there. We have to decide that we are either going to “Act Now”, or simply “Dream On”.
There are fantastic things out there in the world. We can talk about them, read about them, dream about them, watch them on TV, and even plan to see them; but there is really only one thing that should actually be done with them, and that is - to Experience Them. Moss Hart said, “Most of the mistakes I’ve made in my life have been when I said ‘yes’, and wanted to say ‘no’”. I disagree, I believe that most of the mistakes I’ve made in my life have been when I’ve said “No”, and wanted to say “Yes”. When I’ve been afraid instead of courageous. We have to embrace the scary, the new, the undiscovered, even the impossible if we want to live a life filled with wonder and adventure.
So, we’re saying Yes! We are following the White Rabbit, and we’re going to be on time for that very important date - That very important date... with Life. We want to be open to all that life has to offer us, and we can’t do that by sitting still. Mark Twain said, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow mindedness. Broad, wholesome, charitable views cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth”. I’m not sure truer words have ever been said.
Well, we have no idea what awaits us, but we are forever - curiouser, and curiouser...
